Casa Turrent - Revolution Aged Robusto
The Casa Turrent Revolution Aged Robusto is a medium-bodied Mexican cigar built around an uncommon blend of San Andrés tobaccos. A Sumatra San Andrés wrapper covers a Habano 2000 San Andrés binder and fillers of Habano Criollo San Andrés and Negro San Andrés, all aged for four to five years before rolling. The result is a smooth, flavourful profile with notes of cinnamon, cocoa, leather, and pepper, balanced by the natural richness that has made the San Andrés Valley one of the world's most respected tobacco-growing regions.
Fog & Flame Notes: The wrapper is what makes this cigar especially interesting. Rather than using a traditional Sumatra wrapper grown in Indonesia, the Turrent family grows Sumatra seed in the volcanic soils of Mexico's San Andrés Valley. It produces a wrapper with the familiar sweetness and spice of Sumatra, but with a distinctly Mexican character all its own.
