The Casa de Garcia Connecticut Churchill offers the same approachable blend as the Robusto in a longer, more leisurely format. A Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a blend of Dominican and Honduran fillers, producing creamy notes of toasted nuts, cedar, cocoa, and sweet tobacco. The extra length allows the flavours to develop gradually, making for a cool, smooth smoke from first light to the final third.

Fog & Flame Notes: If you've smoked the Robusto of this blend and enjoyed it, the Churchill is well worth trying when you have a little more time. Set aside about 90 minutes for this one. The longer format gives the blend more room to unfold, and as it settles into the final third you'll often notice a little more cedar and gentle spice than the Robusto. It's still an easygoing smoke—just one that takes its time.
